Ideas Into Action. Purpose Into Impact.

My Story: A Lifetime of Curiosity, Technology, and Innovation

My name is Yasoob “Ed” Ahmed. I’m an entrepreneur, technology professional, digital strategist, and disability advocate whose passion for computers, creativity, and problem-solving began in childhood.

My journey into technology started when I was just six years old, learning MS-DOS and exploring what computers could do.

By age 14, I was coding. At 15, I built my first website, discovering the power of combining technology, design, and communication.

What began as childhood curiosity soon became the foundation of my professional life.

At 16, I worked at Sunstone Jewelry, where I handled professional product photography and created jewelry catalogs. This introduced me to commercial photography, visual merchandising, branding, and the importance of presenting products effectively.

At 17, I worked at Northwestern, creating and managing student data files and developing workbooks and educational guides for students. I also learned C++, further expanding my programming and technical knowledge.

By 19, I had become a Microsoft Certified Professional, earning four Microsoft professional credentials in 2000.

At 20, I joined Geek Squad, where I continued developing my expertise in computer technology, troubleshooting, customer service, and technical solutions.

These early experiences taught me that technology isn’t simply about computers or software. It’s about understanding problems, developing practical solutions, and making information more accessible.

Building a Career in the Digital World

As the internet evolved, so did my professional interests.

I moved beyond traditional computer support into website design, development, digital marketing, professional photography, search engine optimization, social media, domain management, and online business operations.

Since 2005, I’ve developed extensive experience in digital strategy, social media, domain administration, and search technologies.

My approach has always been hands-on.

I don’t simply oversee the creative process. I’ve personally performed website design, photography, development, testing, social media setup, domain management, SEO, and blog creation for clients across multiple industries.

I’ve worked with educational institutions, healthcare professionals, sports organizations, nonprofits, retailers, hospitality businesses, and independent entrepreneurs.

I believe that understanding the complete digital experience—from the technical foundation to the finished customer-facing product—produces stronger and more meaningful results.

I’ve experienced the evolution of technology from command-line computing and early websites to modern cloud platforms, automation, e-commerce, and artificial intelligence.

And I’m still learning.

Entrepreneurship: Turning Ideas Into Reality

Entrepreneurship has allowed me to combine my professional experience with personal interests in sports, collectibles, technology, art, and historical preservation.

Through MUS7ILL8MAN6, OFS Store, and the Soobie Sports Preservation Society, I continue exploring how digital technology and storytelling can preserve history and connect people with meaningful objects and experiences.

I’ve always believed that a collectible can represent much more than its market value.

It can preserve a memory, celebrate an athlete, represent a historical moment, or connect generations.

One Fan’s Story, Shared Through Objects.

That belief continues to influence my creative and entrepreneurial projects.

Disability, Advocacy, and Finding New Ways Forward

Living with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease has profoundly influenced my perspective on life, independence, and success.

Disability can change how we work, move, participate, and approach daily challenges.

It can also teach us to think differently, adapt creatively, and recognize opportunities that might otherwise go unnoticed.

I don’t believe a person’s abilities, intelligence, creativity, or potential should be defined by their physical limitations.

Through Madad Inc., my nonprofit work and advocacy interests include Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, scoliosis, accessibility, inclusion, and disability awareness.

I believe technology has an important role to play in expanding independence and providing opportunities for people living with disabilities.

Accessibility isn’t simply a feature. It’s an opportunity to help people participate more fully in life.

Artificial Intelligence: The Next Chapter

Having witnessed multiple generations of technological change, I see artificial intelligence as another important step in the evolution of computing.

I’m particularly interested in how AI, automation, cybersecurity, and modern digital platforms can help individuals and smaller organizations accomplish tasks that previously required significant resources.

My focus is on using these technologies practically, responsibly, and creatively.

For me, AI isn’t a replacement for human experience or judgment. It’s another tool that can help turn ideas into action.

OFS Store: Out for the Season, Never Out of the Game

One of my newest ventures, OFS Store by MUS7ILL8MAN6, reflects a deeply personal philosophy.

In sports, being out for the season means an athlete must step away from competition, often because of an injury or unexpected setback.

But being sidelined doesn’t mean losing your passion for the game.

Living with disability has given that expression an entirely new meaning for me.

Sometimes we have to adapt. Sometimes we have to rebuild. Sometimes the next chapter looks different from what we originally imagined.

But our story doesn’t have to end.

Out for the Season. Never Out of the Game.

There’s Always Next Season.

Those words represent more than a brand. They represent hope, resilience, determination, and the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to participate and contribute.

What I’ve Learned

Over the years, I’ve learned that knowledge is valuable, but the willingness to keep learning is even more important.

I’ve learned that the strongest ideas often begin with simple questions.

I’ve learned that setbacks don’t erase accomplishments.

I’ve learned that success is not always measured in money, recognition, or professional titles.

Sometimes success means building something meaningful.

Sometimes it means helping someone else.

Sometimes it means discovering a different way forward.

And sometimes, simply continuing to show up is its own victory.

Looking Ahead

Today, I continue exploring entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, digital innovation, sports preservation, and disability advocacy.

My goal isn’t simply to revisit past accomplishments. It’s to apply everything I’ve learned to the opportunities ahead.

I believe in curiosity, lifelong learning, practical innovation, and treating people with dignity.

I’m proud of the journey that brought me here, and I’m equally interested in what comes next.

Because no matter how much changes, one belief remains constant:

Down, but never out.

There’s Always Next Season.
